| Symposium L: HYDROGEN AND FUEL CELL TECHNOLOGIES |
|
Aristoteles was visionary, his elements Fire (Energy), Earth (Materials), Air and Water describe a good part of nature and account for the need for materials, at his time as well as today. In the 21st century we add communication and mobility. These needs of the society are strongly correlated to energy and materials.
Energy and materials science and technology are the topics of this symposium. We focus on hydrogen and fuel cell technologies and their future development to reach economic competitivity. Sustainable technologies adaptable to the great consumers "buildings" and "mobility", but also for small portable equipment for enhanced quality of life are addressed. We are looking for high quality innovative contributions dealing with new scientific results and new materials and their applications in technology.
