SPECS GmbH manufactures sophisticated instruments for surface analysis and nanotechnology, based on spectroscopic methods like XPS, UPS, AES, SNMS, LEED, RHEED, HREELS and STM. In customized systems SPECS combines MBE, sample preparation and surface analysis.
The company's excitation sources, analyzers and systems are used i.e. for the control of wafer or other surface composition checks and depth profiling.
The SPECS STM 150 Aarhus offers unique stability and speed for surface mapping. Lateral manipulation of atoms or controlled change of molecules are possible with the LT-STM. In-situ studies of surface dynamical processes, growth and structures can be conducted with the SPECS LEEM.
